Early Pregnancy Care
Once you have done a home pregnancy test and are fairly certain that you are pregnant, you may wish to have your pregnancy confirmed by a gynaecologist. Your first appointment with Dr Lerm will focus on confirming the pregnancy through ultrasound and hormone measurements to ensure both your health and your baby’s wellbeing are closely monitored.
Early pregnancy care includes a detailed review of your medical history, such as your menstrual cycle, contraceptive use, and any previous pregnancies.
Dr Marlize Lerm is passionate about educating new and expectant mothers on what to expect during the first trimester. She welcomes all your pregnancy-related questions and aims to build strong relationships with her patients to provide the best possible care for both mother and baby.
